This gold leaf wall sconce reworks the classic artichoke lamp in natural materials. The Varanasi Wall Sconce by Corbett Lighting builds its shade from cascading tiers of curled leaves, each covered by hand in tiny coco beads that give the surface a soft, pebbled texture. A straight stem in Vintage Gold Leaf adds a warm metallic line against the neutral beadwork, and the light filters gently between the layers. Because the beads are a natural medium, color and pattern vary slightly from piece to piece, giving every sconce its own character.
Hang this gold leaf wall sconce beside a bed, along a hallway, or on either side of a living room sofa, where its textured shade adds warmth at eye level. At 11 inches wide, 13 inches tall, and 6 inches deep, it is compact enough for smaller walls. It uses one 10-watt E12 candelabra G16.5 bulb and is damp rated, so it also works in a bathroom.
