Whimsy meets geometry in the Tring Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting, an opal glass wall sconce that reads as much like sculpture as lighting. Gem-like, asymmetrical shades of white matte glass branch out from sleek, angular steel framework, and when lit they create bright, scattered bursts of light. No two angles feel quite the same, giving the piece a lively, faceted rhythm on the wall. It is offered in Aged Brass for warmth or Polished Nickel for a cooler, brighter finish.
At 32 inches tall and 16.25 inches wide, this opal glass wall sconce has the size to anchor a wall on its own: try it above a console in an entry, flanking a fireplace, or in a dining room where a chandelier is not an option. It projects 7 inches from the wall, so it stays reasonably shallow in a passage. Damp rated, it can also brighten a large bathroom above a freestanding tub.
