The Tournu 11.5" Lantern by Hudson Valley Lighting takes the idea of a lantern and opens it up into a light, cage-like form. This aged brass lantern lines the interior of its open brass frame with LED, so the structure itself becomes the light source and the cage outline glows from within. A white acrylic diffuser softens the output. A single sleek rod suspends the fixture from the ceiling, keeping the silhouette clean and modern. The design is artful enough for a home and spare enough for a hospitality or office setting.

This compact aged brass lantern suits an entry, a stairwell, a kitchen island or a reception area where a sculptural fixture is wanted. It measures 11.5 inches wide by 20.5 inches tall, and overall height adjusts from 24.75 to 78.75 inches. An integrated 28 watt LED lights it, and the fixture is hardwired with no dimmer indicated. Thanks to its damp rating, a covered entrance porch is also suitable.
