The Sweeny 20" Pendant from Hudson Valley sets four lights inside a faux silk shade with softly bowed sides and navy blue pinstripes on white, in a choice of aged brass or polished nickel. A canopy that mirrors the seashell curve of the shade, egg-shaped chain links and a plate glass diffuser underneath give it an organic, transitional character and a gentle, diffused light. It works over a dining table, in a bedroom or in an entry, and it is damp rated.
