Streamlined and statuesque, the Somers Chase Floor Lamp by Hudson Valley Lighting has a mid-century silhouette hand-carved from natural wood. This oak floor lamp has a light oak base that narrows at its middle, creating a waist that draws the eye and gives the column a graceful, sculptural rhythm. A large, crisp white linen drum shade complements the warm grain, and Aged Brass hardware adds a touch of shine at the base. The lamp balances simple lines with the character of natural wood, and grain varies from piece to piece.

At 65.75 inches tall with a 24 inch shade, this oak floor lamp is well placed beside a sofa, next to a reading chair in a study, or in the corner of a bedroom. It takes one 15 watt E26 medium A19 bulb, includes a full range dimmer, and is dry rated for indoor rooms. The pale oak works well with Scandinavian and mid-century furniture.
