A huge block of white marble is drilled out to produce a cylindrical shaft or core of solid marble to create the base for this beautiful table. These 'cored' bases are left in a rather unpolished state to contrast with the smoothness of the round tops. The stem and rim holding the marble are made of solid brass. These tables are available in two heights and offered in two finishes: Bronze or nickel plated solid brass. Perfect side tables (often referred to a drink tables) made in India are the results of this effort.
