Part of the Becki Owens collection, the Sammy Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting is a swing arm wall sconce with the friendly silhouette of a table lamp. A large drum shade in crisp white linen sits atop a long, adjustable arm of steel and brass, so you can pull the light close for reading or push it back against the wall. The design is practical without looking utilitarian. Choose Aged Brass for warmth or Old Bronze for a deeper, more traditional tone that stands out against pale walls.
Sammy is a favorite beside the bed, where it frees up nightstand space, but it also works over a reading chair or a desk. The arm extends 26.5 inches. It measures 12.5 inches wide and 10.25 inches tall, is hardwired and not dimmable, and uses one 15-watt E26 medium bulb. This swing arm wall sconce is damp rated, and a matched pair on either side of a bed gives each sleeper their own light.
