Turn-of-the-century gas lamps inspired the Rossman Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting. This hurricane wall sconce encloses a solid acrylic cylinder inside a clear glass hurricane, and where a flame once flickered, an LED now glows from within. The candle holder base anchors the design with a vintage feel, while the clear glass keeps the profile light and open. Rossman is offered in distressed bronze for a rustic, aged look or aged brass for warmth. It combines old-world charm with modern efficiency.
At 6.75 inches wide, 16.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches deep, Rossman suits a hallway, a pair flanking a fireplace, or the wall beside a bathroom mirror. The integrated LED draws 7 watts and is compatible with TRIAC dimmers, and the fixture is damp rated. Use a hurricane wall sconce in a historic home to bring period character without the upkeep of real candles, or pair it with traditional millwork in a newer house.
