Seashells and coral inspired the Queens Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting, which brings a whimsical coastal note to transitional rooms. This bronze glass wall sconce features a wavy shade of cast glass handmade in India, tinted bronze and frosted on the inside. When the light is off, the glass looks nearly opaque; when it is on, it turns translucent and a circular light source glows through like a pearl. Aged brass studs on either side add a bit of shine against the rippled glass.
Use the bronze glass wall sconce in a powder room, beside a bathroom mirror, or in a hallway of a beach house where its shell-like form adds character. It is 11 inches wide and 9 inches tall, and it extends 5 inches from the wall. It uses one 10-watt E12 candelabra B11 bulb. Its damp rating makes it a sensible choice for bathrooms and covered porches.
