On the wall, the Point Dume Coastal Wall Sconce carries wood beads in a cream finish, hand-sewn over a powder-coated metal frame. The hand-sewing gives each sconce small, charming irregularities, the fingerprint of the maker. Light filters between the beads to cast a warm, dappled pattern across the wall. Use it beside a mirror, along a hallway or flanking a bed in coastal, bohemian and casual transitional rooms; a pair brings pleasing symmetry to wider walls. Compact but full of texture, it distills Palecek's beadcraft into wall-light form.
