Soft, textural light is the whole point of the Philmont Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting. This aged brass wall sconce sets a panel of translucent Piastra glass, with a frosted, ice-like surface, against a slender rectangular backplate. Light passes through layers of white glass and textured surface, so the brass glints at the edges while the center glows evenly. Because each piece of glass is formed individually, the pattern varies slightly from one sconce to the next, which gives the fixture a handmade quality despite its strict, contemporary outline.

Mount a pair of these aged brass wall sconces on either side of a bathroom mirror, line a gallery hallway with them, or use one beside an entry door for a gentle welcome. An integrated 16 watt LED supplies the light, and the fixture is hardwired with no dimmer specified. It measures 6.75 inches wide by 15 inches tall with a slim 2.75 inch extension, is ADA compliant and carries a damp rating.
