The larger of the pair, the Parkchester 18" Pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting gives its handwoven rattan basket shape real room to breathe. Made by artisans in India, this woven rattan pendant has an open weave that turns the light into a soft, dappled glow, scattering patterns on nearby surfaces. A band of Aged Brass cinches the top, catching the light and echoing the chunky chain it hangs from. The broader shade makes the natural fiber the star, and the brass keeps the look polished enough for a dining room.
At 18 inches wide and 23 inches tall, this version can anchor a dining table on its own, center a bedroom, or light a sunroom. Overall height adjusts from 27.5 to 78.25 inches. It takes one 25-watt E26 medium A21 bulb and is damp rated. Hang this woven rattan pendant with the 13-inch size nearby for a layered, coordinated look.
