A hand-blown shade of amber rippled glass carries the light on the Octavia Sconce, its surface catching and softening the glow into something closer to candlelight than lamplight. The shade hangs from a short oak wood pole, which in turn drops from an oak backplate trimmed in brass, so the warm tones of wood, glass, and antique brass read as one continuous material story rather than a set of separate parts.
