Compact and quietly architectural, the Nowra Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting is an adjustable wall sconce built around crisp geometry. A slim steel arm carries a cylindrical head that pivots, so the single beam can be pointed down at a countertop, angled toward artwork or turned to wash the wall. The design keeps ornament to a minimum and lets proportion do the work. It comes in two finishes, warm Aged Brass or a deeper Distressed Bronze, each giving the small steel body a different mood while keeping its tidy, modern outline.
Because it projects only 5.5 inches and stands 6 inches tall, this adjustable wall sconce fits where bulkier fixtures cannot: beside a reading chair, flanking a narrow bed or above a kitchen shelf. It uses one 10 watt GU10 bulb for a focused, spotlight-style beam. The fixture is 4.75 inches wide and damp rated, so a covered porch or a steamy bathroom is fair territory as well.
