Art Deco design inspired the Moissanite 17-Light Chandelier by Hudson Valley Lighting, an alabaster chandelier made of three cascading tiers of lustrous stone panels. Unlit, the alabaster looks cool and milky, and when the lights come on it turns warm and translucent. Aged brass finials punctuate the tiers, and the fixture hangs from an elegant chain, giving it an old-world sense of glamour. Each alabaster panel is a natural stone, so slight variations in color and veining are part of its appeal.

Moissanite is 20 inches wide and 18.25 inches tall, a vertical, layered fixture well suited to an entryway, a stairwell, or a large living room. Overall height adjusts from 30 to 73 inches. It uses seventeen 8 watt E12 candelabra bulbs. This alabaster chandelier is damp rated, and a larger 33-light version is also part of the family for spaces that call for more scale. Hang it where it can be seen from several angles, since the tiers look different from below and from the side.
