Tactile natural materials shape the architectural form of the Metuchen Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting. An inner tube-shaped shade sits within a curved outer shade and extends past it at both ends, creating a layered, luminous effect. Both layers are wrapped in textured natural abaca cord, giving this abaca wall sconce an organic, handcrafted presence. Vintage Gold Leaf details add a gilded accent to the woven surfaces. Because abaca is a natural fiber, color and pattern vary slightly between pieces. The overall look is contemporary yet warm.

Use it in a hallway, beside a bathroom mirror or on a stair wall where texture adds interest. The abaca wall sconce is 6.75" wide and 16" tall and extends 6.25" from the wall. It uses one 15 watt E26 medium T10 bulb and is damp rated, so a bath is a suitable location. A pair beside a bed brings a soft, relaxed glow to a coastal bedroom.
