Layered materials give the Mackay 7.75" Tall Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting its quiet depth. In this opal glass wall sconce, an opal globe is nestled inside a thick square of clear cast glass, all set against a smooth metal backplate. The play of circle inside square is simple geometry, but the thickness of the glass adds dimension and catches the light in interesting ways. Choose Polished Nickel for a bright, reflective plate or Aged Brass for warmth. The fixture can be installed as a wall sconce or as a flush mount.
Mackay measures 7.75 inches square with a 4.5 inch extension, making it a good fit for a powder room, a hallway, a closet ceiling, or the wall beside a bathroom mirror. It uses one 4 watt G9 LED bulb. Because this opal glass wall sconce is damp rated, it can go in a full bath or shower area that stays covered, and a row of them reads nicely along a corridor.
