Named for a stretch of Long Island shoreline, the Lido Beach Chandelier by Hudson Valley Lighting is an aged brass chandelier with a relaxed, transitional feel. Its frame is made of brass and finished in Aged Brass, a warm, softly burnished tone that reads as collected rather than brand new. Rather than a cluster of candle arms, the design centers on a single light source, giving the fixture a clean focal point and an uncluttered profile. At 30 inches wide and 33.5 inches tall, it has the scale to anchor a room without crowding it.
Hang this aged brass chandelier over a round dining table, in a two-story foyer or above a kitchen island where one generous light makes more sense than several small ones. It takes a single 75 watt E26 medium base bulb, so you can choose the color temperature that suits the room. The fixture is damp rated, which also opens up covered porches and sunrooms with some exposure to humidity.
