Two half-round glass shades sit back to back in the Kert 11.75" 2-Light Pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting, a clear glass pendant with a confident, sculptural form. The shades are mounted on a central metal ring and positioned behind the bulbs, so the light source becomes part of the design while the glass catches and shapes its reflections. Steel hardware comes in Black Brass, a dark finish with brassy undertones, or Aged Brass for a classic warm glow. Kert is a versatile family, also offered as sconces, a linear and a chandelier.
This compact pendant is 11.75 inches wide and 12 inches tall, with overall height adjustable from 19 to 70.25 inches. Cluster several over a kitchen island, hang one above a bedside table, or use it to mark an entry. The clear glass pendant holds two 60-watt E26 medium bulbs and is damp rated for bathrooms. Because the bulbs are on view, decorative globe or filament bulbs suit it well.
