Large in scale and drawing the eye upward, the Jupiter 2-Light Pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting is a fabric drum pendant with real presence. An aged brass frame is wrapped in white stretch fabric, which gives the fixture a sculptural, almost architectural shape even when the lights are off. Once lit, the glow fills the fabric and bounces off a ringed canopy above, adding a second layer of light. Contemporary and soft at the same time, Jupiter offers a lot of visual impact with very simple materials.
Measuring 28 inches wide, Jupiter suits a dining room, a living room with high ceilings, or a primary bedroom where you want soft overhead light. Overall height adjusts from 28.25 to 82.25 inches. It takes two 75 watt E26 bulbs. This fabric drum pendant is damp rated, and its diffused glow is especially flattering in rooms used in the evening, such as a family room or a quiet reading space.
