Hand-sewn wood beads formed into a delicate helix distinguish the Izmir Coastal 1 Light Wall Sconce, set over a cream-finished powder-coated metal frame and backplate. The spiraling beadwork catches light along its curve, bringing gentle movement to the wall even before the lamp is switched on. It lends a soft, beachy note to powder rooms, bedside walls, and stair landings, and pairs happily with linen, driftwood, and whitewashed finishes. Because every bead is sewn by hand, small variations give each piece its own character. With the Izmir, Palecek turns a single-light sconce into small-scale sculpture.
