Factory rafters and old barn beams inspired the Hudson Falls Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting, a polished nickel wall sconce that takes the rugged rough-service fixture and gives it a refined finish. Those early work lights relied on sturdy metal shades to guard the bulb and push light down across a wide surface, and this design keeps that purposeful dome. Built of brass and finished in polished nickel inside and out, the shade throws a bright, clean reflection from its interior. The result reads as reclaimed and industrial at first glance, yet the mirror-like plating makes it feel at home in a polished, transitional room.
Mount this polished nickel wall sconce beside a mudroom bench, along a covered porch where damp conditions are expected, or over a farmhouse sink where you want direct light on the counter. Its damp rating suits bathrooms and sheltered outdoor spots alike. The fixture measures 10 inches wide and 8.5 inches tall, and it projects 11.75 inches from the wall, so the shade reaches out far enough to light the area in front of it without crowding a hallway.
