Drawn from hoshigaki, the Japanese craft of hanging persimmons to dry, this vintage brass pendant gives that tradition a playful, lantern-like form. The Hoshi 28.25" Pendant by Corbett Lighting, part of the Noz Nozawa collection, suspends a lightweight silk shade from a T-bar and link chain in Vintage Brass, nodding to the paper lanterns of Isamu Noguchi. The fabric diffuses light into a soft, warm glow. As the largest of the three pendant sizes, at 28.25 inches wide and 29.75 inches tall, it brings the most volume and makes the clearest statement of the family.

This size has the scale to anchor a large dining table or fill a tall entryway, and works well over a kitchen island in an open plan. Hang it alone as a centerpiece rather than in a row. The vintage brass pendant takes one 15-watt E26 medium A19 bulb, and overall height adjusts from 39.25 to 103.75 inches. It measures 28.25 inches wide and is damp rated.
