A stunning statement-maker, Gatsby bypasses lamp norms. Mounted along three metal rods, three thick discs of Spanish alabaster allow for spectacular light diffusion while upping the luxe factor. This pyramid-like setting is echoed in its cast-metal base and even the detail where body meets base. An opal diffuser at its core softens light slanting out sideways and stops short of the top disc, providing an exceptionally cool effect. Depending where you stand, you might peek askance at an open cup of light or see the mysterious suffusion of illuminance as it passes through the top slab of stone.
