Inspired by antiquities, the Foxton Table Lamp by Hudson Valley Lighting makes a bold, geometric statement as a metal shade table lamp. A conical, stacked iron base rises to a pyramid-shaped metal shade, reimagining the classic lamp outline in sharp planes and angles. The surfaces are troweled by hand, offered in Vintage Gold Leaf for a warm glow or Warm Silver Leaf for a softer, cooler shimmer. Because base and shade share the same finish, the lamp reads as one solid, statuesque object rather than parts assembled together.
Foxton measures 22 inches tall and 18 inches wide, a compact size that works on a library shelf, a bar cabinet, or a small side table in a formal living room. Because the shade is opaque, this metal shade table lamp directs light down and out for a focused pool rather than a broad wash. It uses one 15 watt E26 medium A19 bulb, includes a full range dimmer, and is dry rated.
