Coiled white cotton cord, crafted entirely by hand, forms the Ferndale 36" Pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting. This woven cord pendant is a pure expression of material: small gaps between the coils let light slip through, so the whole shade fills with a warm, even glow. The Gesso White finish keeps the palette fresh and airy, giving the large form a lightness that suits contemporary rooms. Because each shade is handcrafted, the color and pattern vary slightly from piece to piece. Ferndale also comes in a second, smaller size.

With a 36 inch diameter and an 18 inch body, this woven cord pendant has the scale for a dining table seating six or more, a double-height living room, or a spacious primary bedroom. Overall height adjusts from 28 to 72 inches. It uses one 25 watt E26 medium A21 bulb and is damp rated, which also allows it on a covered porch.
