Coiled entirely by hand from white cotton cord, the Ferndale 24" Pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting is a cotton cord pendant that turns pure material into form. Small gaps between the coils let light escape across the whole surface, so the shade glows evenly rather than just from below. The Gesso White finish keeps the palette clean and soft, and the handmade construction means each piece varies slightly in color and pattern. Fresh and airy, it brings a gentle texture to contemporary rooms. Note that Hudson Valley's text also uses the name Fishkill for this design.

At 24 inches wide and only 12 inches tall, this cotton cord pendant has a broad, shallow profile that suits a dining table, a bedroom, or a living room seating area. Overall height adjusts from 28 to 68.75 inches. A single 25-watt E26 medium A21 bulb lights it, and the fixture carries a damp rating. A smaller size is also available for kitchens and entries.
