Fruit rendered in stone is among the oldest decorative motifs there is, and the Vintage Grapes plays it straight.

Crafted from the finest grey marble and accompanied by a vintage brass leaf, the sculpture pairs cool stone against warm metal in a deliberate contrast. Carving a cluster of individual spheres from a single marble block is genuinely demanding work, since each grape must be released without fracturing its neighbours, and the result rewards close handling in a way a cast piece would not. Because marble is a natural material, each cluster differs in colour and veining, so the way the grey banding runs across the fruit is unique to your example.

Set it on a coffee table, a dining table or a bookshelf where it can be picked up. Part of Eichholtz's Deco accessories collection, it embodies timeless elegance and is also offered in green and red marble for anyone assembling a group across colourways.
