Two square trays in graduated sizes solve the problem every desk develops: small objects with nowhere to belong.

Both are wrapped in croco embossed buffalo leather, a treatment that presses the scaled pattern into genuine hide rather than printing it onto a synthetic. Buffalo is thicker and more robust than calf, which lets the embossing hold its relief crisply through years of objects being set down and picked up, and the black colourway keeps a strongly patterned material disciplined enough for a working surface. MDF forms the body beneath, so the trays stay rigid and square.

The shallow depth is deliberate: contents stay visible and reachable rather than disappearing into a well. Use the larger for papers and a notebook and the smaller for keys, a watch and pens, or nest them. They connect to the wider Scaleo collection of desk set, blotter and picture frames.
