Horn inlay is one of the oldest decorative crafts still practised, and at this scale it becomes genuinely arresting.

Each piece of horn is cut, flattened and laid individually across the frame, and because horn is a natural material, every tile carries its own gradation from pale amber through to near-black. No two frames can be alike, and no printed or moulded surface reproduces the effect: the material is translucent at its thinner edges, so the frame appears to hold light within it rather than merely reflect it. MDF and mild steel form the structure beneath, with mirror glass at the centre.

Hang it above a console in an entrance hall or over a fireplace, ideally where daylight can cross the horn and reveal its depth.
