A six and a half inch slab top makes this the most emphatically solid outdoor table in the range, and that mass is the entire point.

Outdoor furniture has to resist wind, and a lightweight table will move or tip on an exposed terrace. Glass fibre reinforced concrete delivers that weight while surviving freeze-thaw cycles that would crack ordinary cast concrete, and a light grey glaze seals the surface against staining from spilled drinks and rain. Rubber feet protect decking and paving underneath.

Rated for indoor use as well, its industrial weight and glazed surface also suit a garden room or a covered veranda that sees hard use.
