The counter version uses 1.4 metres of fabric to the bar stool's 1 metre - the shorter stool takes more cloth. That looks backwards until you see the seat depths: 17.91 inches here against 18.11 on the bar version, and a fractionally different back. The two are separately patterned rather than one design on longer legs, which is why the material figures diverge. It also means the pair genuinely coordinate rather than one being a stretched copy of the other. At 27.17 inches the seat suits a standard 36 inch counter. Both stools swivel 180 degrees and spring back to centre, so a row squares itself up each time someone stands. The cloth is 85% polyester with 15% recycled real leather - actual leather fibre reclaimed into the weave - rated at 65,000 Martindale rubs, with grey piping tracing the seams. Hollow steel and polypropylene foam. CAL-117 compliant.
