A woven covering of cotton and raffia gives Eichholtz's Cadiz Box a pale, sun-bleached texture that recalls a summer straw hat. Raffia brings the slightly irregular color and grain of a natural palm fiber, while the cotton keeps the weave supple and less prone to splitting. Underneath, an MDF and iron structure keeps the sides square and the lid fitting cleanly. Available in two sizes, it corrals remotes, coasters or magazines on a coffee table or bookshelf in a coastal-leaning room.
