A square seat is unusual and it sits differently. Most chair seats are wider than they are deep, which encourages an upright posture facing forward. Equal proportions let you turn sideways, draw your legs up, or sit cross-legged without running out of surface in any direction. Combined with a low 17.32 inch height, it makes a chair people settle into rather than sit on. It takes 10.5 metres of bouclé, more than most full-size sofas, because the chair is 45.67 inches wide overall - a chair and a half. Chalk white is 95% polyester with 5% acrylic rated beyond 80,000 Martindale rubs, the looped texture hiding marks a flat pale weave would show. A brown wooden base warms the white. One scatter cushion with a removable cover is included. CAL-117 compliant.
