The seat of this chair is a perfect cube of space: 18.90 inches deep, 18.90 wide and 18.90 from the floor.

That is not a coincidence, and it produces a chair with unusual formal discipline. Most seating varies these three figures to chase comfort in one direction or another; holding them equal gives the Arcadia a geometry you can read from across a room, and an upright, alert posture rather than a reclining one. The arms sit at 25.98 inches, level with the top of the back.

Light brown mappa burl veneer wraps the exposed frame, a material normally reserved for small cabinetry because the swirling figure comes from an irregular growth rather than straight trunk timber, so no two chairs carry the same pattern. Loki natural covers the seat, a 58% polyester and 42% olefin blend rated to 80,000 Martindale rubs with colour fastness to light at the top of the scale.
