Pieces made using hand techniques, including hand-carved, hand-painted, hand-blown, and hand-thrown work, will vary from piece to piece. Natural materials are unique to each piece: wood, mother of pearl, and shell show natural grain and coloration; marble, stone, and geodes have distinctive veining and banding; leather and hide vary in markings and color; and rattan, jute, and seagrass vary in color. These variations are not considered damage or defects.
