A modern air lantern with a bold architectural outline, the Edgemere Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting is an alabaster wall sconce that places its light in the frame itself instead of a central bulb. LED strips are built into the brass cage, and a rectangular panel of alabaster attaches to each arm, forming a geometric array that glows from the edges. The piece feels grand and traditional with a futuristic edge. Choose Aged Brass for a warm frame or Distressed Bronze for a dark, moody contrast with the pale stone.
Slim at 2.5 inches wide and 22.5 inches tall, with a 3.25 inch extension, this ADA compliant alabaster wall sconce suits hallways, stair walls, and the narrow space beside a vanity mirror. A pair on either side of a fireplace or a bed also works well. It is rated at 8 watts and dims on ELV or TRIAC dimmers. The damp rating means a bathroom is a fine spot for it.
