Inspired by the air lantern, the Edgemere 4-Light Pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting is an alabaster pendant with a bold, architectural frame. Instead of a single central light source, the illumination is built into the cage itself, and a rectangular panel of alabaster is mounted on each arm. Together the stone panels form a geometric arrangement that glows from within. The brass frame is offered in Aged Brass or a mixed Aged Brass and Distressed Bronze, giving it a grand, traditional weight with a forward-looking edge. Natural alabaster varies in veining, so each piece has its own character.
Hang this alabaster pendant over a kitchen island, in an entry with a tall ceiling, or above a dining table where the glowing panels can be seen from every side. It is 16 inches wide and 27.75 inches tall, with an adjustable height reaching 85.5 inches. It runs on four 28-watt sources and is compatible with ELV, Triac, and 0-10 volt dimmers. The damp rating extends its use to covered outdoor rooms.
