Morning dew gathering on blades of grass inspired the Duxbury 7-Light Chandelier by Hudson Valley Lighting. This seeded glass chandelier hangs voluminous cloud seedy glass shades, etched on the inside, from stark metal bands and chains. The balance of hard and soft is the point: crisp linear metal against rounded, bubbly glass. The seeded texture scatters light gently while the etching keeps it diffuse. Choose aged brass for a warmer, classic finish or distressed bronze for a more rugged, architectural look.

With a width of 43.75 inches and height of 39.75 inches, Duxbury suits a large dining room, a two-story entry, or a great room with tall ceilings. Its overall height adjusts from 43.5 to 97.5 inches. It uses seven 15-watt E26 medium base bulbs and is damp rated. Duxbury also comes as a 5-light seeded glass chandelier for smaller spaces, so you can carry the look into a breakfast room or a landing at a more modest scale.
