Industrial in spirit but carefully detailed, the Darien Pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting is a distressed bronze pendant that rewards a closer look. An oversized ornamental swivel sits at the top, a double-ringed socket holder supports the light, and small rivets punctuate the crown of the steel shade. The Distressed Bronze finish runs over the brass body and continues on the inside of the shade, so the glow picks up a warm, darker tone instead of bare white metal. The result is a compact fixture with real character packed into an 8 inch width.
Hang this bronze pendant in a row of two or three over a kitchen island, use one above a small breakfast table, or place it at the end of a mudroom or back hall. It takes one 75 watt E26 medium bulb and measures 8 inches wide by 12 inches tall. Overall height adjusts from 18 to 72 inches, and the fixture is damp rated.
