Waxed bamboo and natural brass make an unmistakably Ralph Lauren pairing, and the Dalfern 27" Cordless Desk Lamp puts them to work: a slim bamboo standard, brass fittings, and a natural brass shade that throws light down onto the page. The single LED recharges and dims by touch, so nothing trails across the desktop.

Put it at the back corner of a writing desk, where the brass shade aims light at the blotter and keeps it off a screen. It works equally well on a library table between two chairs, or on a narrow shelf in a home office that was built without task wiring. Because it is cordless, it can follow you to the kitchen island when the desk is not where the work is happening.
