Compact and functional, the Colrain Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting is a polished nickel wall sconce that rethinks the familiar bath light. A single Sfumato glass shade, frosted to opaque white at both ends, sits on a slim steel frame and sends light both upward and downward. The glass softens the source and cuts glare, which is exactly what you want near a mirror. Polished Nickel gives the frame a bright, reflective finish that pairs easily with chrome or nickel faucets and crisp white tile.

This 1-light version is 17.5 inches tall and 5.25 inches wide, half the height of the 2-light Colrain, so it fits above a smaller mirror or beside a medicine cabinet. It projects 3.75 inches and is ADA compliant for hallways too. Damp rated, it uses one 10-watt GU10 bulb. Use this polished nickel wall sconce in pairs on either side of the mirror for balanced light that flatters the face.
