Two folded paper shades stack vertically on the Celmins 2-Light Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting, a handmade paper sconce with a soft, architectural character. Each angular shade is crafted from handmade paper in Soft White and edged with mushroom-hued whipstitching, a detail that reveals the artistry in its making. Light filters through the paper as a warm, muted glow. Inspired by the Cy floor lamp, the Celmins collection also offers a single-light sconce and a coordinating floor lamp in the same sculptural spirit.
This version is 16 inches tall, 7.5 inches wide, and extends only 3.75 inches, so it is ADA compliant and works in hallways, stairwells, and beside a bathroom mirror. A pair flanking a bed or a console also looks calm and balanced. Each shade holds one 10 watt E12 B11 candelabra bulb. This handmade paper sconce is damp rated, and its soft, even light is kind to faces, which makes it a lovely choice for a dressing area or powder room.
