The Maitland-Smith Celebration Brass Box shows highlighted brass figures of women holding a box inlaid with tiger penshell, raised on a marble base. The mix of polished metal, patterned shell and stone gives the piece a sculptural, traditional character. Tall and slender, it makes a decorative accent on a mantel, a console or a library shelf, with room inside for small keepsakes.
