Petite and expressive, the Bideford Wall Sconce by Hudson Valley Lighting is a botanical wall sconce that takes its cue from nature. Its cast metal shade is shaped with a botanical motif, and a subtle texture beneath the Aged Brass finish adds to the organic, hand-formed feel. It is compact and artful, closer to a small sculpture than a utilitarian fixture, and the exposed round bulb adds a soft glow at its heart. The aluminum construction keeps it light while the finish gives it warmth.
Hudson Valley pictures Bideford in hallways, powder rooms and bathrooms, and at 5.5 inches wide, 8.5 inches tall and 6 inches deep, this botanical wall sconce fits each of those easily. It takes one 15 watt E26 medium G25 bulb, providing gentle ambient light, and the damp rating makes it suitable for bathrooms. A row along a passage creates a pleasant rhythm of light and shadow on a plain painted wall.
