Inspired by the calm of the sea, the Baychester 32" Pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting is a rattan pendant that pairs rustic materials with strong, simple shaping. A wide, conical shade of hand-woven rattan hangs from a large loop and chain finished in Bronze Leaf, a detail that gives the natural weave a polished anchor. The cone directs light downward, so it works as a capable downlight as well as a textural statement. Because the rattan is woven by hand, color and pattern vary slightly.

At 32 inches wide and 15 inches tall, this rattan pendant is scaled for a dining table, a kitchen island in a coastal home, or the center of a sunroom. Overall height adjusts from 18.25 to 70.25 inches. It takes one 25 watt E26 medium base bulb and hardwires to the ceiling. Note that it is dry rated, so keep it to indoor rooms rather than an open porch.
