An empire chandelier with a touch of natural whimsy, the Barrytown 7-Light Chandelier by Hudson Valley Lighting is decorated with translucent glass flowers. This empire chandelier uses cast piastre glass blossoms, each etched for texture and centered with a bead in Vintage Gold Leaf, that create a soft, filtered glow. The iron frame keeps the classic tiered shape while the botanical details lighten the mood. It feels grand without being heavy, and its transitional style fits both modern and more traditional rooms.
At 24" wide and 25.75" tall, it suits a powder room with a tall ceiling, a dressing room, a bedroom or a small dining area. Overall height adjusts from 31.75" to 83.5". The empire chandelier uses seven 10 watt E12 candelabra B11 bulbs and is damp rated. The scattered glass flowers produce a gentle, sparkling light rather than strong downlight, so pair it with recessed lighting where task light is needed. Larger versions are made for bigger rooms.
