    The Asken Wall Tile is made of irregular pieces of wood that have been artistically placed by hand into the frame. Providing the sculptural piece with added interest are the cut-outs, or negative spaces, in a number of the wood blocks. This piece of square wall art was created with painstaking precision that only the most talented craftspeople can achieve. Also bringing the piece a feel of authenticity is the fact that the wood is reclaimed so the natural characteristics of the materials life before becoming art adds tremendous patina.
