Four frosted glass petals ring the Ashton 4-Light Convertible in a shape that is wide and shallow rather than deep. Lit, the glass turns milky and even, laying a soft wash of light beneath it with no filament in sight. The metal frame amounts to a shallow ring and a short stem.
It converts to suit the room: hang it as a pendant anywhere from 8 to 60 inches on the four 12-inch downrods included, or mount it close to the ceiling. Twenty inches wide, so a bedroom, entry or low kitchen works. Four E12 bulbs to 60 watts, dimmable. Dry rated. Available in Mediterranean Bronze and Noble Brass.
