Generous and layered, the Alsen 6-Light Pendant by Hudson Valley Lighting is the larger of the family's two pendants and its most dramatic. This coco shell pendant interprets the artichoke form made famous by Louis Poulsen, building a voluminous shape from dozens of natural coco shells that curve outward in overlapping rows. Each shell adds depth and shows off the material's unique texture. A White Plaster finish on the chain keeps the color story soft and cohesive, while the light brings out tonal contrast across the shells.
With a 36.5 inch diameter, this coco shell pendant is scaled for a large dining table, a vaulted living room or a beach house great room. It stands 19.5 inches tall, and overall height adjusts from 23.25 to 75.25 inches. Six 10 watt E12 candelabra B11 bulbs illuminate the shells from inside. The fixture is damp rated, so a covered porch is also within reach.
